GiroSardegna 2025: annullata la cronometro del 26 aprile. Confermate tutte le altre tappe
In seguito al comunicato ufficiale della Federazione Ciclistica Italiana (FCI) e dello CSAIN, che recipiscono l’invito del Presidente del CONI Giovanni Malagò a sospendere tutte le competizioni sportive in programma per sabato 26 aprile 2025, in occasione delle esequie di Sua Santità Papa Francesco, l’organizzazione del GiroSardegna comunica quanto segue:
🔴 La cronometro individuale prevista per sabato 26 aprile è ufficialmente annullata.
✅ La tappa del giorno precedente, venerdì 25 aprile, si svolgerà regolarmente, e sarà anticipata da un minuto di silenzio in memoria del Pontefice, come richiesto dal CONI.
✅ Confermate anche tutte le tappe successive, in programma da domenica 27 aprile a giovedì 1° maggio, che si terranno regolarmente secondo il calendario previsto.

GiroSardegna 2025: the time trial of April 26 has been cancelled. All other stages confirmed
Following the official press release from the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) and CSAIN, which include the invitation from CONI President Giovanni Malagò to suspend all sports competitions scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, on the occasion of the funeral of His Holiness Pope Francis, the GiroSardegna organization announces the following:
🔴 The individual time trial scheduled for Saturday, April 26 is officially cancelled.
✅ The stage of the previous day, Friday, April 25, will take place regularly, and will be preceded by a minute of silence in memory of the Pontiff, as requested by CONI.
✅ All subsequent stages, scheduled from Sunday, April 27 to Thursday, May 1, have also been confirmed and will be held regularly according to the scheduled calendar.
